You might use cucumber, chayote or jicama Jeff, something really crunchy. I would even try with apple! Enjoy 😉

Delicious! I never ate radish tops – this is a wonderful salad. What a great thing to make if you have radishes from your garden.

My husband and I loved this salad. I didn’t have any radish leaves so just substituted domain I had on hand and added some leftover roast chicken and it made a hearty meal. Delicioso!!!

I love this salad! So fresh. Devina.
I have a technical question. I watch your show all the time. You often purée vegetables in a blender. What kind of blend do you use, which brand works so well?? Mine doesn’t liquify very well. Thank you, Gracias. Love your show!!

This salad was so good. This was a stretch for me and for my husband. He doesn’t like radishes (too much) or cucumbers, and I don’t like sesame oil. But, we made it as directed and it was a success!

Do you steam the leaves of the radishes also or just wash them?

    1. Pati Jinich

Just wash and dry them Stefanie; it will surprise you how flavorful they are. Enjoy the salad 🙂

I wasn’t able to get radish leaves, so I substituted them with watercress and arugula for their peppery flavor.
