Love, love, love, love everything you do. I made my first Cochinta Pibil and Chilorio after watching your travels through Mexico. Maybe we will cross paths in Tucson at Barrio Charros some day? Keep doing what you’re doing 🤙🏽🌵🤙🏽

I am from the Midwest and always look for horchata when I go out for Mexican food. I think it might be a cure for a hangover and I had some experience with this I’m college. 🍺

    Hi Pati,

I’m lactose and I don’t enjoy the flavor of lactose-free milk. Would it be okay to use coconut or almond milk to substitute for cows milk. What do you recommend! Thanks!

Absolutely Gris, I would go for almond milk, but coconut is good as well 😉

    Patti,

Saw this episode last night on PBS. Love your cooking show.
I have a question, or Two. As you blend the ingredients, also blend the rice?
And if is too thick do we add more milk?
    Looking forward to your reply,
    Thank you
    A fiel Fan!

Yes you blend it altogether, Patricia. Then you strain it into a pitcher. It shouldn’t be too thick after you strain it, but you can add milk to thin it out.
