Son peque\u00f1os, brillantes y lindos y tienen una piel cerosa. Aunque se ven muy simp\u00e1ticos, son los chiles m\u00e1s picantes (tremendamente picantes) en la comida mexicana. Tienen una calificaci\u00f3n de 300,000 a 350,000 en la escala <em>Scoville<\/em> para medir el picante de un chile. Para que se den una idea de qu\u00e9 tan picantes son: los jalape\u00f1os rondan de 10,000 a 15,000.<\/p>\n<p>Son un ingrediente indispensable en la comida regional de la Pen\u00ednsula de Yucat\u00e1n. Son aut\u00f3ctonos de la regi\u00f3n, aunque ir\u00f3nicamente se llaman como la ciudad cubana La Habana ya que se comerciaban fuertemente ah\u00ed hace siglos.<\/p>\n<p>Es muy f\u00e1cil sembrarlos en la casa y son muy decorativos, por lo que es com\u00fan encontrarlos en macetas en las cocinas, y no s\u00f3lo en M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los chiles habaneros tienen una apariencia vivaz, con sus colores fuertes que van de verde a amarillo y luego de naranja a rojo seg\u00fan van madurando.
