Se pueden preparar con anticipaci\u00f3n para reuniones, ya que se pueden comer calientes o fr\u00edas. Son muy reconfortantes y aguantan horas de viaje y siguen deliciosas cuando por fin te las comes.<\/p>\n<p>Con todo eso en mente, hice varias el s\u00e1bado pasado para llevarlas a casa de una amiga. Preparar el doble.<\/p>\n<p>2. Si no, no le digas a tus amigos de las deliciosas empanadas que preparaste pero que no pudiste traer porque se acabaron antes de llegar, porque no les va a gustar nada.<\/p>\n<p>Las empanadas pueden tener gran variedad de rellenos. Dice la historia que han existido desde las Cruzadas Espa\u00f1olas ya que son perfectas para viajes largos. Llegaron aqu\u00ed con los os espa\u00f1oles.<\/p>\n<p>La palabra \u201cempanar\u201d, se puede traducir como \u201cel acto de cubrir algo con pan o masa para pan\u201d. Pueden ser peque\u00f1as o grandes, saladas o dulces. Primero, las quesadillas se pueden hacer con tortillas de harina o de ma\u00edz, y las empanadas s\u00f3lo se hacen con masa de harina de trigo. No lo digo como limitante al contrario, ya que hay muchos rellenos y tipos de harina. Unas de las empanadas m\u00e1s esponjosas se preparan con hojaldre.<\/p>\n<p>Mientras se hornean, la masa delgada se transforma en algo espectacular:<br \/>\nvarias capas de masa delgada infladas con aire y mantequilla.<\/p>\n<p>Puedes preparar el hojaldre o comprarlo en la tienda. Si est\u00e1 congelado, hay que descongelarlo antes de extenderlo. Luego haz los c\u00edrculos, tan grandes o peque\u00f1os como quieras. Aqu\u00ed hago c\u00edrculos de 13 cm. Tiene una base de cebolla, ajo, jitomates, jalape\u00f1os en escabeche, alcaparras, aceitunas, pasas y hierbas cocidas que trajeron los espa\u00f1oles. Muy parecida al Pescado a la Veracruzana. La salsa se cocina hasta que est\u00e9 h\u00fameda y los sabores se absorben y mezclan por completo.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n puedes comer Minilla como plato principal encima de arroz, o usarlo para hacer s\u00e1ndwiches o tortas. Mi forma favorita de comerla es en estas empanadas. Usa un tenedor para decorar las orillas y para sellar la empanada un poco m\u00e1s. En M\u00e9xico, muchos chefs conocen una t\u00e9cnica laboriosa para decorar y sellar las orillas de las empanadas para que parezcan de encaje. No se fr\u00eden ni se cocinan en un comal o sart\u00e9n.<br \/>\nUna vez en el horno, las capas del hojaldre se inflan, la superficie se dora, lo de en medio queda h\u00famedo y el relleno se funde con el hojaldre.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7118\" Una vez caliente, sin que llegue a humear, a\u00f1ade la cebolla y acitr\u00f3nala unos 5 minutos. Agrega el ajo y cocina durante 1 minuto y revuelve hasta que suelte su aroma. Agrega los jitomates picados y cocina todo unos 15 minutos revolviendo frecuentemente, hasta que los jitomates se vean cocidos, suaves y pastosos.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-9511-step-0-1\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Agrega el at\u00fan y con una esp\u00e1tula o cuchara de madera, revuelve bien con los jitomates para que no queden trozos grandes. A\u00f1ade las hojas de laurel, el az\u00facar, el or\u00e9gano, el tomillo y la sal y revuelve bien. A\u00f1ade las pasas, las aceitunas, los jalape\u00f1os, las alcaparras y el perejil e incorpora bien lo anterior a la mezcla de jitomate y at\u00fan. Tapa el sart\u00e9n y reduce el fuego a medio-bajo. Cocina unos 10 minutos, hasta que la mezcla est\u00e9 h\u00fameda y no tenga mucho l\u00edquido. Rectifica la saz\u00f3n. Retira las hojas de laurel y aparta.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-9511-step-0-2\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Forra dos charolas para hornear con papel encerado. Precalienta el horno a 175 C. En un recipiente peque\u00f1o, bate el huevo con el agua.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-9511-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Enharina una superficie plana y con un rodillo  extiende una l\u00e1mina de pasta de hojaldre hasta que tenga como 1\/2 cm de espesor. Corta c\u00edrculos de 13 a 16 cm con un molde para galletas redondo o lo que te sirva como molde. Con una brocha pastelera, unta las orillas de los c\u00edrculos con el huevo con agua. Pon unas 2 cucharadas de at\u00fan en el centro de cada c\u00edrculo, dobla como si fuera una quesadilla para formar una media luna, empujando el relleno adentro de la empandada mientras presionas las orillas para sellarlas. Presiona la punta de un tenedor con cuidado en las orillas, para decorar y para sellar m\u00e1s la empanada. Pon la empanada en la charola para hornear y haz lo mismo con el resto de los c\u00edrculos de hojaldre.
