Tambi\u00e9n se llama queso de pueblo, queso de rancho y a veces solo como queso blanco. En algunos pueblos peque\u00f1os se vende envuelto en hojas de pl\u00e1tano y a veces lo dejan en las peque\u00f1as canastas en las que se prepara.<\/p>\n<p>Usualmente es redondo, parece firme y mantiene su forma al cortarlo, pero es suave y se desmorona con facilidad. Se usa de muchas formas: para acompa\u00f1ar el guacamole y las salsas, desmoronado encima de cientos de antojos como tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, frijoles refritos y hasta en sopas. Me encanta cortado en cuadros o desmoronado encima de ensaladas. Como pueden ver, tiene much\u00edsimos usos.<\/p>\n<p>Es suave, ligeramente salado, muy fresco y un poco \u00e1cido. Si no lo puedes encontrar, aunque hoy en d\u00eda es f\u00e1cil hallarlo en tiendas latinoamericanas y en lugares como Costco, puedes usar en su lugar queso de granja o un Feta suave.<\/p>\n<p>Una de las cosas maravillosas del queso fresco es que, aunque lo cortes en tiras o cuadros, una vez que te lo comes, se desmorona deliciosamente en tu boca.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El queso fresco se puede encontrar por todo M\u00e9xico con diferentes variedades.
