One could say that it tastes like one too!\u00a0Serranos are spicy. However, as with most chiles, you can pump down the heat by removing the seeds and veins.<\/p>\n<p>They have, like the <a href=\"http:\/\/patijinich.com\/pati_2020\/chile_jalapeno\/\">Jalape\u00f1os<\/a>, a dark and deep green color, shinny skin\u00a0and a small and thin stem.\u00a0 However, Serranos tend to be on the smaller side and are much thinner and appear longer.<\/p>\n<p>It seems to me, Serranos have a fuller and more flagrant flavor\u00a0than the Jalape\u00f1os.
