Pati's Mexican Table

Premieres Oct. 2, 2026 on PBS! Guided by Manuel de Jesús Lastra, the local historian in Viesca, Pati is captivated by the stories of this town, where locals grow dates of surprising sweetness. She then drives to the city of Torreón, where she meets new friends at the popular lunch spot, El Payo. Later, at a local cantina, an old custom inspires her to reflect on the future generations.
