  1. That’s how my mom makes her guacamole but she also adds cilantro. So yummy! She’s from Sonora Mexico. I, here in California, substitute cream for sour cream. My little ones like it better. Thank you for your recipes.

  2. I love you and your family. Wrote to you before that I also raised 3 boys same age as your, but now I’m old and not well. I just had heart surgery. I miss my son’s living at home. Anyway I *us want to tell you I love this avocado creme recipe. I wish you were my neighbor or better yet my sister and you could cook for me once a month. I’m to sick to cook like I used to, so I watch your shows and read your cookbooks and pray I meet you some day. God bless you and your family.

love your show and I’ve visited some of the areas you feature on your show
this crema I’ve made with cilantro, roasted tomatilos, and either jalepano or roasted hatch chiles
    yummy….

  4. I’v made this but added cilantro , roasted tomatilos, roasted jalepeno , and one time I added roasted hatch chiles in lieu of jalepeno….it’s great on everything

  5. I am enchanted with the flavor. Not guacamole. So a new taste treat. Kind of like making my own flavored mayo. Went well with pibil sandwich. Would add little adobo sauce to chicken on sandwich and a little salt.

  6. Hello,
I have just moved to a very rural part of PA, and have not yet found ANY “ethnic” markets nearby. Can I sub sour cream in this recipe?
